​Having discovered the healing arts as a late teen - I knew with an eager certainty that I found my direction in life. I was and continue to be inspired by the authenticity, community and joy that we all have the capacity for creating in our lives and in our shared world.  From 2003 to 2005 I attended Circle of the Heart School of Wholeness, an intensive three year school rooted in full spectrum energy healing, taught by a Barbara Brennan practitioner and healer. This experience anchored me in the knowing that my capacity to facilitate healing for others is a direct reflection of my capacity to allow healing in myself. 

 

I value practices that are embodied and practical. What I offer in my practice is lead by a spontaneous yet structured approach to healing that is influenced by all my learning over the past eleven years. I listen deeply to my client's goals and what brings them in the door. This varies from relaxation or an aching back to challening birth experiences or chronically high stress levels. 

 

I received my massage education at the North Carolina School of Natural Healing and was licensed in 2006. I took many additional classes in meditation, soul-focused healing and energetic herbalism with Daisy Marquiz. Craniosacral therapy has become my primary modality as I've found it to be a highly refined scientific and energetic approach to healing. I've worked with multiple independent teachers studying CST, most recently with Carol Gray, a midwife and bodyworker who specializes in craniosacral therapy during pregnancy, labor, postpartum and newborns.  I am continuing to further my learning through the Upledger Institute.

 

I completed my BA in the Health Arts and Sciences at Goddard College in 2009. My coursework at Goddard focused on perinatal and developmental psychology; weaving together my love of healing and birth.
